Meet our Directors

Kenneth Guralnick - Chief Executive Officer

Ken is the senior manager for all of the UIS affiliates entities. He brings 31 years of Loss Control experience with major insurance carriers.

Prior to joining UIS, Ken served for 12 years in loss control at Royal & Sun Alliance, most recently as Accident Prevention Vice President for the manufacturing segment. Previously he worked in loss prevention for CIGNA, and Insurance Company of North America, and CG/Aetna since beginning his career in 1977.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science from Central Connecticut State University is an Insurance Institute of America Associate in Loss Control Management and is a National Fire Protection Association Certified Fire Protection Specialist. He is a member of the Epsilon Pi Tau – Industrial Arts Honor Society, a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, and is a Member of the National Fire Protection Association.
 
 

Scott Kuhnly - Field Operations

Scott serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the UIS Group. He has over 20 years experience in Loss Control and Safety. Scott graduated from Keene State with a BS in Management and AS in Occupational Safety. Scott has worked in Loss Control for insurance carriers as well as serving as the Risk & Safety Manager for the Town of Windsor Connecticut. He also worked for a large insurance broker providing risk control service coordination to large clients. He most recently worked in industry as a senior safety and health manager.

Scott has a Masters degree in Insurance, is a Certified Safety Professional

(CSP) and CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist). He is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, and is a Member of the National Fire Protection Association.
 
   

Susan Mosher - Financial Services

Sue runs our finance department and is a key member of our management team. She brings 10 years of financial experience maintaining the "books" of several businesses. Her background also includes office management, sales and dispatching experience in related industries. Sue ensures our financial accounting is fully in order and that all contractors and vendors are paid promptly and accurately. She maintains a strong working relationship and
open door policy with our contractors to facilitate resolution of the occasional problem. Keeping all parties happy through open communication channels is a key to making things work smoothly. This is reflected in Sue's philosophy and approach to her job.
